Time.

Time, it's something I think about often. Mainly because I know that this is all we really have to fear in life. Time, or running out of it... It's a scary thought. We're here for a good time, not a long time. I first learned of this quote from the band Trooper. It always stuck with me because I've always been an "in the moment" kind of guy. I've always wanted to be happy and have fun. No consequences. Always thought I had all the time in the world... Young, dumb, and full of c**. Time shouldn't be something you waste, and boy have I wasted a lot of it. Thinking back, I'd make a lot of changes but hey, who wouldn't right? You know, be more confident... Be more outgoing... Study more... Be happier with what I have... I'm sure anyone you ask could look back at one fork in the road and say that they should have chosen the path less taken and been more adventurous. But hey, there's lots of time for that right? Procrastination... Doing tomorrow what you could to do today... Taking the electric ride of less resistance... Just drifting by on fumes... And for what... At the end of the day you're not gaining time, you are wasting it by not being in the now. You are wasting it by don't-ing instead of doing... Well friends, as some of you are aware, time waits for no one. And if you don't carpe diem the f*** out of the remaining years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds... Then you robbing yourself of the life you should have... You're robbing yourself of who you could be... The potential to be. Time doesn't have to be something to fear, but something you should respect. Respect it by using it wisely and do something you love to do. By doing the things you love you won't have time to worry about time, and life will be more rewarding and enjoyable until the very end of our current short existence on this tiny little blue planet.
